Steven Wayne Walker

Steven Wayne Walker, 60, Bonnerdale, AR passed away in his sleep on June 14, 2026 at UAMS in Little Rock, AR. In 2023 he was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer with an original timeline of 6-8 months. Steven was a fighter and exceeded that timeline to 3 more fun years. 

Steven was born July 10, 1965 in Faith, SD to the late Jack and Sharon (O'Dell) Walker. He is preceded by both parents, and brother Bruce Walker. 

Steven is survived by his daughters Cassie (Zachary) Walker, Nikki Walker, Megan Walker, his sons, Colton Walker, Dakota Walker, grandsons, Dean Walls, Kayson Walls, sister Nancy Wallenstein (Ron), brothers Kevin Walker, Matthew Walker, nieces and nephews, and a host of other friends and family. 

During his time Steven was many things. A business man, a farrier, a horse trainer, a firework salesman, a roofer, a father, and a devoted Christian. 

Words from his Pastor, Will Culberson - Steve was a devoted member of Refuge Church in Pearcy. His faith in God never wavered and shined brightly through the numerous challenges and difficulties of life. Steve was a passionate worshipper who boldly shared his faith with family, friends, and even total strangers. He was always quick to give and slow to receive. He was always thinking of others before considering himself. 

Celebration of Life will be Saturday, June 20, 2026 at 11:00am at Refuge Church 3217 Airport Rd, Pearcy, AR 71964 with Bro. Will Culberson officiating
