Shelton Ray Ledbetter Sr.

Shelton Ray Ledbetter, 78, of Oden, AR passed away September 20, 2026 at CHI St Vincent in Hot Springs, AR. Shelton was born March 17, 1948 in Oden, AR to the late Clyde and Nora (Abernathy) Ledbetter. He is preceded in death by both parents, wife of 50 years Brenda Ledbetter, brothers Clovis Ledbetter and wife Oweita, Clois Ledbetter and wife Sue, two infant sisters.

Shelton is survived by his sons Jr Ledbetter and wife Amy, Brent Ledbetter and wife Julia, daughter Deyan Goines and husband Kenny, grandchildren, Jake Ledbetter and wife Natalie, Tate Ledbetter and wife Abby, Cory, Adam, Brittany Hanna and husband Scott, Taylor, Victoria, Dylan Dowdy, Cody Dowdy, and Brenna Goines, 6 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and a host of other family and friends.

Visitation will be Wednesday, September 23, 2026, 4-6pm at Thornton Funeral Home Chapel. Service will be Thursday, September 24, 2026 2pm at Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church in Hog Jaw with Bro.
