Shawn Michael Spurling

Shawn Spurling, 25, of Oden, Arkansas passed away at CHI St Vincent in Hot Springs, Arkansas on March 8, 2024. He was born June 5, 1998, in Hot Springs, Arkansas to John Spurling. He is preceded in death by his father John Spurling, both grandmothers, Edna Lenard and Louise Dillon.

Shawn is survived by his paternal grandparents Paul and Mary Spurling, stepmom Lucy Collins, stepbrothers Dennis Collins and Cameron Collins, uncles David and Audrey Spurling, Chris Spurling, Kevin and Magan Spurling, aunts Latricia and Randy Bowden, and Susan and Johnny Godwin, host of cousins and other family and friends.

Visitation will be Friday, March 15, 2024, 6:00-8:00 pm at Thornton Funeral Home. Services will be held Saturday, March 16, 2024, at 2:00 pm at Oden Methodist Church with Bro. Kyle Cowart officiating. Pallbearers are CJ Spurling, Anthony Spurling, Jaemon Christie, Dennis Collins, Drew Fechuch and Dakota Barrett.  Arrangements are under the direction of Thornton Funeral Home in Mount Ida.
