Rufus V Sekavec

Rufus Sekavec, age 87, of Mount Ida, Arkansas passed away November 28, 2021 at CHI St Vincent in Hot Springs, Arkansas. Rufus was born on January 29, 1934 in Mount Ida to the late Milios Victor and Pauline (Goodner) Sekavec. He is preceded in death by both his parents, his wife of 66 years, Mary Sekavec, son; David Sekavec, daughter; Ruth Sekavec and his sister; Opal Standridge.

Rufus is survived by his son; Tim (Joanna) Sekavec, his sister; Joy (Teal) Baslee, grandson; Jeremiah Sekavec, granddaughters; Mary (Ted) Collum, Summer Sekavec, great grandchildren; Katie Brown, Madilynn Brown, Acelynn Sekavec, Blake Collum, Jacklynn Collum and Logan Sekavec and a host of nieces, nephews and other family and friends.

Visitation will be Friday, December 3, 2021, 1:00-2:00 pm, with service at 2:00 pm, at Faith Tabernacle in Mount Ida, with Bro. Don Vaughn officiating with burial at the Stanley-Standridge Cemetery.
