Rosemary Powell

Rosemary (Stanley) Powell, 100, of Mount Ida, Arkansas, passed away, Monday, July 10, 2023, in Hot Springs. She was born March 23, 1923, in Twin Creek, Arkansas, to the late Brack and Clara (Smith) Stanley. Rosemary is preceded in death by both of her parents, her husband Clyde Lee Powell, her son Clyde Lee Powell Jr., her brothers Toney Stanley, Brack Stanley Jr. and Bobby Lee Stanley, her sisters Blanche Smith, Mildred Green and Jean Waddle.

Rosemary is survived by her son Larry (Betty) Powell, her daughter Beckie (Larry) Carr, grandsons, Josh Carr and Larry Mark Powell, great grandsons, Barrett Carr and Skylar Powell, brother Martin Stanley, sister, Ann Watkins, sister-in-law Katherine Stanley, nieces, nephews a host of other family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family ask that donations be made to the Stanley-Standridge Cemetery Fund at Farmers Bank in Mount Ida, Arkansas. Arrangements are under the direction of Thornton Funeral Service in Mt. Ida. Guest register at www.thorntonfh.com
