Lois Mae Ponder

Lois Mae Cogburn Ponder, 80, of Umpire, Arkansas, passed away Saturday, May 22, 2021, at her home. She was born June 11, 1940, in Mena, Arkansas, to Willie Anderson and Gertie (Golden) Cogburn. She is preceded in death by both parents, her brothers and sisters; Louise, Velma, Clyde, Doyle, Lloyd, Frank, Willie Gene, Patsy and Hazel.

Lois enjoyed fishing, hunting and playing poker with her family and friends. She also enjoyed going to the horse races and casinos.

Lois is survived by her husband; Danny Ponder, daughters; Sara (Marlin) Parish and Lisa Mayberry, sons; Travis (Derhonda) Hopper and Chris Hopper, grandchildren; Jeffery Garner, Terrance Garner, Kyler Hoffpauir, Bella Parish, Tristen Parish, Jamie Parish, Kyla Parish, Mandy Gilbert, Sarah Gilbert and Reagyn Hopper, great-grandchildren, brother; Jerry Cogburn, and sisters; Pauline Herring and Virginia Cogburn, nieces, nephews and a host of other family and friends.

There will a service at a later date.
