Frank Ervin Bittle

Frank Ervin Bittle, 79, of Monticello, AR, passed away September 24, 2026, in Little Rock, AR with family by his side. Frank was born May 19, 1947 in Mena, Arkansas to Finnis and Anis (Tucker) Bittle. He is preceded in death by both parents.

Frank is survived by his wife of 60 years, Carolyn Abernathy Bittle, sons Wayne (Kimberly) Bittle, Casey (Ann Marie), grandchildren; Katlyn Bittle, Max Bittle, Alicia Bittle, Tyler Bittle and Jessica Bittle, brothers, Trezy Bittle, Finis (Patsy) Bittle sisters; Vanlie DeFer, Elaine Overthrope, nieces, nephews and a host of other family and friends.

Visitation will be Thursday, October 1st, 2026, 1pm with service starting at 2pm at Lone Valley Church in Sims, Arkansas with Bro. Keith Pennington officiating. Arrangements were made and directed by Thornton Funeral Home in Mount Ida, Arkansas. Guest register at thorntonfh.com
