Eileen Mary Hess

Eileen Mary Hess, 70, Mount Ida, AR passed away July 21, 2026 at UAMS in Little Rock, AR. Eileen was born May 22, 1956 in Chicago, IL to the late Joseph and Mary E (Mathes) Doyle. She is preceded in death by both parents, brother James Doyle, sister Deborah Doyle and father-in-law Kenneth Hess Sr.

Eileen is survived by her husband Kenneth Hess Jr., son Cody Hess, daughter May Cowgill, grandchildren Autum Cowgill, Erin Cowgill, Wesley Cowgill, brothers Ralph Doyle and wife Cara, Joseph Doyle, aunt Audrey Hess Eberle, nieces, nephews and a host of other family and friends.

Visitation will be Monday, July 27, 2026 from 3 to 5 at Thornton Funeral Home. Service will be Tuesday, July 28, 2026 at 10am at the Fort Smith National Cemetery at 522 Garland Ave. Fort Smith AR. 72901
