Carrie Lynn O'Neal

Carrie Lynn O’Neal, 46, of Mount Ida, Arkansas, passed away Friday, February 9, 2024, at her home with her family by her side. She was born October 15, 1977, in Hot Springs to Charley and Kathy (Thew) O’Neal. She is preceded in death by her grandparents Guy and Minnie O’Neal, Hubbard and Virginia Thew, uncles Mike and Jim O’Neal and Bob McLane, aunts Sue McLane, Wanda O’Neal and three cousins, Riley and Brooks Thew and Kathy O’Neal.

Carrie is survived by her loving son Christian Guy O’Neal Wilson, her parents Charley and Kathy O’Neal, sister Michelle (Temple) Lacefield, nephews Zachary (Jay)Kesterson, Michael (Katy) Kesterson, fiancé, Marty Waggoner aunts Karen (Bart) Williams, Janet Weston, Paulette O’Neal, uncles Mike (Eunice) Thew, Marvin (Necie) Thew, Melvin (Lynne) Thew, Mark (Jill) Thew, a chosen sister Renee Fechuch, cousins and a host of other family and friends and her fur baby Maisy.

Service will be held Monday, February 12, 2024, 10:00 am, at Joplin Methodist Church with Bro. Josh Harper officiating. Burial will be at the Joplin Cemetery. The pallbearers are Christian O’Neal Wilson, Michael Kesterson, Zachary Kesterson, Temple Lacefield, Jay Owens and Marty Waggoner. Honorary pallbearers are all her cousins, Arkansas Hospice, Genesis Cancer Center and CHI ICU 3rd floor step down unit. Arrangements are under the direction of Thornton Funeral Home in Mount Ida.
