Carl Elder

Carl Elder, 70, of Oden, Arkansas, passed away Monday, August 24th, 2020, in Hot Springs, Arkansas. Carl was born October 16th, 1949 in Montgomery County, Arkansas to Clyde and Deloris Elder. He is preceded in death by both parents, his wife of 41 years; Brenda (Singleton) Elder, they were married November 7th, 1969 and she passed away July 22, 2011.

Carl is survived by his son; Eric (Tammy) Elder, 2 grandchildren; Hailee (Jeff) Lewis, and Haizen Elder, 1 great-granddaughter; Addilynn “Addilee” Lewis, 1 sister; Shirley (Leo) Angell and 2 brothers; Herman Elder and Dale (Zella) Elder all of Oden, Arkansas.

Visitation will be Thursday, August 27th, 2020, 5-7pm at Thornton Funeral Home. Graveside services will be at Brushy Cemetery, Friday, August 28th, 2020, 2pm, with Bro. Tommy Beshears and Bro. Mike Smith officiating. Honorary Pallbearers will be Buck Ellison, Lance Ellison, Tom Ellison, Delton Hughes, Kelly Singleton, Gary Don Stovall, Rayburn Gaston and “The Yellow Store” crew.
