Billy Wayne Summitt

Billy Wayne Summitt, 75, of Oden, Arkansas, passed away, Thursday, September 24th, 2026 in Hot Springs, Arkansas. He was born December 7th, 1950, in Sims, Arkansas to the late Sherman and Effie (Smallwood) Summitt. He was preceded in death by both of his parents, brother Ray Summitt, sister Kathy Minton and his nephew Eugene Minton.

Billy is survived by his wife of 53 years, Linda Summitt, son Michael (Tara) Summitt, sister Tammy (Poe) Constantino sister Debbie (Tim) Stokes, grandchildren Kaitlyn (Fletcher) Curtis, Abby Summitt, great grandson Van Curtis, nieces, nephews and a host of other family and friends.

Visitation will be Sunday, September 27th, 2026, 2-4pm at Thornton Funeral Home Chapel. Graveside service will be Monday, September 28th, 2026, 2pm at Rocky Cemetery in Sims, Arkansas with Bro. Andy Kennedy officiating. Pallbearers: Eric Summitt, Lane Summitt, Kevin Irons, Aaron Baker, Ty Stokes and Andrew Carmack.
