Amy D Wheeler

Amy D Wheeler, 46, of Oden, AR. passed away Wednesday, October 23, 2024, in Mount Ida, AR. Amy was born April 20, 1978, in Hot Springs, AR, to Ronnie and Darlene Wheeler. She is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents John and Julia Collins, paternal grandparents Lloyd Wheeler and Nancy Hammond. 

Amy is survived by two daughters, Krista Jones (Austin), Tabatha Perkins (Cole), parents Ronnie and Darlene Wheeler, grandchildren James Perkins, Allison Perkins, Hayden Perkins, Braylyn Perkins, Adelynn Dubina, brothers Christopher Wheeler (Megan), Shawn Wheeler (Sarah), nieces, nephews and a host of other family and friends, and all her fur babies.

If you knew Amy you knew that she loved her fur babies and her plants. Her grand babies were her heart, she would do anything for them. Amy didn’t have a lot but she gave what she could. She had so much life left to live and plans to fulfill, however God had plans of his own. She was loved by many and will be missed deeply. She is with her savior, Mema and Pepa watching over us now.

Visitation will be Monday, October 28, 2024, 4 to 6 at Mount Olive Landmark Missionary Baptist Church in Oden, AR. Service will be Tuesday, October 29, 2024, at 2pm at Mount Olive Landmark Missionary Baptist Church in Oden, AR. Bro. Arlie Francis and Bro. Kyle Cowart will officiate the service. Burial will be at Mount Olive Cemetery. Pallbearers, Shawn Wheeler, Christopher Wheeler, Austin Dubina, Cole Perkins, Patrick Fair and Marcus Jones. Honorary pallbearers Ronnie Wheeler, Ervin Sickafus, Tony Tacket, Kenny Tacket and Mark Collins. Arrangements are under the direction of Thornton Funeral Home in Mount Ida.
