William "Bill" Forbes

William “Bill” Forbes, 84, of Mount Ida, Arkansas, passed away at his home, Sunday, June 12, 2022. He was born January 18, 1938, in Oden, Arkansas, to Ira Woodrow and Cortez (Stanley) Forbes. He is preceded in death by both of his parents, first wife, Judy (Betts) Forbes and his brother, LD “Sonny” Stanley.

William is survived by his wife, Connie Forbes, son, Steven Forbes, daughter, Tracy Worley, grandson, William Forbes, greatgrandchildren, sisters, Edna Ruth (Gene) Mayberry and Teny (Jimmy) Gibbs, sister-in-law, Louie Dean Stanley, nieces, nephews, along with a host of other family and friends.

Visitation will be Tuesday, June 14, 2022, 4:00-6:00 pm, at the Thornton Funeral Home Chapel. There will be a private memorial at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Thornton Funeral Service in Mt. Ida. Guest register at www.thorntonfh.com
