Robert Lee Essman

Robert Lee Essman, 66, of Mount Ida, Arkansas, passed away Friday, April 8,2022 in Hot Springs. He was born May 15, 1955, in Fort Smith, to L.D. and Iola (Smith) Essman. Robert is preceded in death by both of his parents, 2 sisters, Daisy Qualls and Dessie Cotton, and a brother, J.D. Essman.

Robert is survived by his wife of 46 years, Ramona Essman, 2 daughters, Diana Loper and Samantha (Justin) Waggoner, 1 son, Jamie Essman, 5 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, sister Inez Williams, nieces, nephews along with a host of other family and friends.

Memorial service will be Saturday, April 16, 2022, 1:00 pm, at the Freedom Cemetery in Waldron, Arkansas. Arrangements were made under the direction of Thornton Funeral Home of Mount Ida, Arkansas. Guest register at www.thorntonfh.com
