Phillip Edgar Black

Phillip Edgar Black, 75, of Mount Ida, Arkansas, passed away Sunday, January 8, 2023, at his home. He was born July 20, 1947, in Hot Springs, Arkansas, to William Edgar and Essie (Wibel) Black. He is preceded in death by both of his parents.

Phillip is survived by his brothers, William Evan Black, Jimmy John Black, Charles E. Black, Alvin Black and Matthew Black along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and friends.

There will be a Memorial Service Wednesday, January 11, 2023, 10:00 am, at the First United Methodist Church of Mount Ida, with Bro. Paul Coy officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Thornton Funeral Service in Mt. Ida. Guest register at www.thorntonfh.com
