Mrs. Blanche (Dillard) Mckinney

Mrs. Blanche (Dillard) McKinney, 88, of Mount Ida, Arkansas, passed away Sunday, September 13, 2020 at the Montgomery County Nursing Home. Blanche was born April 21, 1932 in Sims, AR to the late Thomas and Hettie Beggs Dillard. She is preceded in death by both parents, husband of 70 years; Nolan McKinney, two brothers; Bobby Dillard and Bill Dillard.

Blanche had a long career with Grant's Department Stores when she lived in Alabama for many years. She loved animals, and she fed strays just as she did her own pets.

Blanche is survived by brothers; Tom Dillard and Ricky Dillard, sisters; Patsy Hopper, Kathy Bailey, a sister in law; Verda Dillard and host of other family and friends.

Visitation will be Thursday, September 17th, 2020 4-6pm at Thornton Funeral Home. Graveside service will be Friday, September 18th, 2020 11:00am at Lone Valley Cemetery in Sims, Ar.
