Miriam E Brister

Miriam E. Brister, age 88, of Mount Ida, AR, formerly of Mena, AR departed this life on November 28, 2019 in Hot Springs, AR. She was born December 25, 1930, in Texas, to the late Harry H. and Alice Jewell Burns. Miriam is preceded in death by both her parents, her husband; James Brister, brothers, Harry H. Burns Jr. and sister in law Elaine, Ruben Burns and sister in law Margarette, sister, Verna Ray and brother in law Olvin.

She is survived by one brother, Elder Wayne Burns and wife Flora, sisters, Barbara Vachula and Mary Alice Strange and brother in law Kester and a host of other family and friends.

Service will be held Tuesday, December 3, 2019 at 2:00 pm at New Prospect Primitive Baptist Church in Board Camp, AR, with Elder Wayne Burns officiating. Pallbearers will be: Kenneth Burns, James Ray, Eugene Burns, John Vanderbilt, John Harrison and Arlan Faught. Burial will follow in Board Camp Cemetery.
