Leslie L. Ruth Jr.

Leslie L. Ruth Jr., 79, of Mount Ida, Arkansas, passed away Saturday, April 4th, 2020. He was born August 18th, 1940, in Kansas City, Missouri, to Leslie L. Ruth Sr. and Louise (Smith) Ruth. He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers and sisters, and a great-granddaughter; Alanna Lerille.

Leslie was a retired owner of Pro Auto Parts of Arkansas and owner of Ruth’s Twin Creek Bait and Tackle.

He is survived by wife of 34 years; Marsha, daughters; Karen (Dan) Smith and Donna (John Davis) Craig, grandchildren; Dana (Scotty) Lawrence, Ricky Lerille and Nikki Plummer, great-grandchildren; Lynleigh Lawrence, Levi Lawrence, Dillon Plummer and Joshua Plummer. He also had numerous nieces and nephews along with several people who considered him a father figure or grandpa.

There will be a graveside service at Joplin Cemetery with Bro. Dakota Barrett officiating. The family asks that donations be made to the local food bank in memory of Leslie in lieu of flowers.
