Kathy Dunaway Gossett

Kathy Dunaway Gossett, 71, of Sims, Arkansas, passed away, Friday, September 22, 2023, in Mena. She was born March 12, 1952, in Mena to Ira Lee and Faye Alice (Godbehere) Dunaway. She is preceded in death by both of her parents, daughter, Sarah Coffey, brother, Lloyd Dunaway, and sisters, Emma Lou Shaw and Wanda Jean Henderson.

Kathy is survived by her husband of 53 years, Eugene Gossett, daughter, Jennifer Barrett, grandchildren, Tyler (Jordan) Gossett, Dakota (Kendra) Barrett, Katelyn (Dustin) Lunsford, Brookelyn Coffey, Rustin Coffey, Lakelyn Coffey, great grandchildren, Titan Venable, Timrie Venable, Hadleigh Barrett, Hestyn Barrett, Leyton Lunsford and Brazos Lunsford, sister, Virginia Welchman, brother, Larry (Linda) Dunaway along with a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Graveside service will be Monday, September 25, 2023, 10:00 am at Pencil Bluff Cemetery with Bro. Dakota Barrett officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Thornton Funeral Home in Mount Ida. Guest register at www.thorntonfh.com.
