Jonathan Peter Manassa

Jonathan Peter Manassa walked into Eternity on May 23, 2024. JonJon as many lovingly called him was a born again, Holy Spirit filled believer. He loved Jesus and was more than ready to take Papa God’s hand.


Jonathan Peter Manassa was born on January 27, 1970, to Dolores Johnson and Johnny Julius Manassa. Jon was his own person. He fiercely loved God and his family.


Jon drove long distance truck for several years and became a trainer. He was an amazing truck driver and enjoyed it immensely.


Jon resided in Story, Arkansas, beside his parents. Many a back porch coffee drinking conversation happened there. They loved him so.


Jon loved his brothers and sister and never called them step.


As Jon’s brother-in-law would state…”Johnny you need to write a book”…and he could have. It would have been a best seller. Jon loved listening to KLOVE radio station.


Jon is survived by his Mom Dolores Johnson and Dad AKA Pops GW Johnson of Story, Arkansas, sister, Naneha (Jim) Lee of Mena, Arkansas, sister, Karen (Louis) Mediano of Dardanelle, Arkansas, brother, Bentley (Shelly) Johnson of Centerville, Arkansas, brother, Brad (Tenille) Johnson of Bella Vista, Arkansas, uncle, Mike (Shana) Manassa New York, Aunt Debe Bess, Missouri, cousin Kelle (Rafael) Yanouri Germany, cousin Cindy (John) Bufalini Watertown, New York, several nieces and nephews.


Special mention, Brad Johnson, whom Jon loved visiting, playing pool and fishing with. Jon adored his nephew Joshua Lee, nieces Brandi Bagley and Macie Bit Johnson.


Preceded in death by; Dad, Johnny Julius Manassa, Uncle Chuck Manassa, Uncle Gene Bess, Grandpa Frankie Manassa, Grandma Rosalind Nelson and Grandma Rosie DeBerger, nephew Chase Standridge.


Special mention: Grandpa Bill Johnson, Great Grandparents George and Victoria Manassa, Great Aunt Hannah Habeeb.
