Jeannette Wingfield Fryar

Jeannette Wingfield Fryar, 73, of Oden, Arkansas, went to her Heavenly home Saturday, January 2, 2021, in Mount Ida, Arkansas. She was active member at Litte Hope Baptist Church and served as a first responder with the Oden/Pencil Bluff Fire Dept. She had a true passion for helping others. She loved her time spent with family, they were the light of her life. She was born June 21, 1947, in Oden, AR to the late Leslie and Irma Tarkinton. Jeannette is preceded in death by her parents and her husband of 35 years Billy Joe Wingfield and husband of 8 years Tommy Fryar, brothers; Rod, Elvin, Boyd, Doyle, Louis and Raymond Tarkinton, one sister; Elizabeth Tarkinton.
Jeannette is survived by her four children; Trevia Wingfield, Billie Sue (Jim) Jones, Tina (Neal) Thomas, her son; Tommy Wingfield, grandchildren: Chase (Becky) Gray, Whitney (Kelly) Starr, Jeremy Jones, Caleb Jones, Haillie (Travis) Gray, Matthew Thomas, Brooke Wingfield, Tyler Wingfield, Lauren Wingfield, four great grandchildren: Lilli Pitts, Shaelyn Starr, Isabelle Thomas, and Emmalin Thomas, two sisters; Sis Weihert and Theresa (Clem) Gossett, one brother: Carroll (Dena) Tarkinton, along with a host of nieces and nephews and other family and friends.
Visitation will be Monday, January 4, 2021 from 6 to 8 pm at Thornton Funeral Home in Mount Ida, AR. Services will be Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at 2:00 pm at the Little Hope Baptist Church in Pine Ridge with Bro. Andy Kennedy and Bro. Rusty Lewis officiating. Pallbearers; Chase Gray, Jeremy Jones, Caleb Jones, Kelly Starr, Matthew Thomas, Tyler Wingfield, Travis Gray and Travis Fryar.

In lieu of flowers, family request donations are made to the Little Hope Baptist Youth Group or the Oden/Pencil Bluff Fire Dept. Arrangements were made under the direction of Thornton Funeral Home of Mount Ida, AR. Guest register at www.thorntonfh.com
