James David Harcrow

James David Harcrow, 86, of Mount Ida, Arkansas, passed away, Saturday, September 4, 2021. He was born December 1, 1934, in Ogemaw, Arkansas, to Woodrow and Virgie (Hogue) Harcrow. He is preceded in death by his parents and 3 sisters; Mary Smith, Billie Ann Harcrow and Sue Whitmer.

He is survived by his wife of 64 years; Carolyn (Nix) Harcrow, 3 children; Kathy (Charles) Palmer, David (Dedra) Harcrow and Tony Harcrow, 3 grandchildren; Tracy (Ken) Boone, Jay (Bretta) Palmer, and Heather Harcrow, 5 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren, 1 sister; Loretta Smith, numerous nieces, nephews and a host of other family and friends.

There will be a visitation Wednesday, September 8, 2021, 5:00-7:00 pm at Thornton Funeral Home Chapel. Graveside services will be Thursday, September 9, 2021, 11:00 am at the Sardis Cemetery in Pine Grove, Arkansas. Arrangements were made under the direction of Thornton Funeral Home of Mount Ida, AR.
