Herman "Duggan" Elder

Herman “Duggan” Elder, 67, of Oden, Arkansas, passed away Monday, February 8, 2021 at CHI St Vincent in Hot Springs, AR. Herman was born September 14, 1953 in Oden, AR to the late Clyde and Deloris Elder. He is preceded in death by his parents; brother; Carl Elder, and a sister; Shirley Angell.

Herman is survived by his two daughters; Sherri Elder and Kelli Elder of Hot Springs, AR, grandchildren; Payton and Paxton Nevels, brother; Dale (Zella) Elder, a host of nieces, nephews, other family and all of his friends he enjoyed visiting with at “The Yellow Store”.

Visitation will be held Thursday, February 11, 2021, 5:00-7:00 pm at Thornton Funeral Home Chapel. Service will be held Friday, February 12, 2021, 2:00 pm at Brushy Baptist Church in Oden, Arkansas with Bro. Tommy Beshears and Bro. George Vincent officiating. Pallbearers will be Patrick Fair, Delton Hughes, Stacy McKay, Stan Miller, Eric Elder and Tom Ellison.
