Elwanda Damazio

Elwanda Damazio, 95 of Oden, Arkansas passed away Friday, November 15, 2019 at the Quapaw Care and Rehab in Hot Springs, AR. She was born July 29, 1924 in Ola, Arkansas to the late Benjamin F. and Elizabeth Robinson Kinsey. She proceeded in death by her husband, Joseph S. Damazio; both parents; one son, Mike Damazio; son-in-law, Robert Forsythe; five brothers, Earl Kinsey, Norban Kinsey, Opal Kinsey, Von Kinsey, and Gene Kinsey; one sister, Margaret Sampson; and grandson, Colby Damazio.

She is survived by her four sons, Frank Damazio (Sharon) of Portland, Oregon, Rick Damazio (Donna) of Temecula, California, Donnie Damazio (Valerie) of Hurley, Mississippi and Billy Damazio (Mary Ann) of Oden, Arkansas; two daughters, JoAnn Forsythe of Fresno, California, and Robin Waggoner (Dan Bennett) of Hot Springs, Arkansas; brother, Raymond Kinsey; two sisters, Mary Rose Burks and Patsy Ruth White (Larry); 24 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren, 4 great-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Graveside service will be held Monday, November 18, 2019 at 10:00 AM at Pencil Bluff Cemetery in Pencil Bluff, Arkansas. Officiating will be Bro. Tommy Beshears. Arrangements were made under the direction of Thornton Funeral Home of Mount Ida, AR. Guest register at www.thorntonfh.com
