Earla Eileen Perkins

Earla Eileen Perkins, 98, of Mount Ida, AR, passed away, January 21, 2023, the Heavens opened up and the Lord himself came and took Earla Eileen Perkins to her Heavenly Home, that Special Place that the Lord prepared for her himself. She was born in Globe, Arizona, on March 16, 1924, to Lennie Estelle Vance Perkins and Earl Henry Perkins. She is preceded in death by her father, mother, one brother and one sister.

She was a nurse, artist and sought truth on all planes of life including both here and hereafter. She deeply appreciated all who touched her life, both the pleasant and the unpleasant for all in fluenced the direction and molding of her spirit in preparation for this special time of her passing. She died at peace with God and happily went with him to her Heavenly Home.

She is survived by niece; Darla Skillern and husband Floyd of Nacogdoches, Texas, nephews; Kent Raines and wife Nancy of Nacogdoches, Texas, and Ronald Raines and wife Dona of New York City, N.Y. She left several grand nieces and nephews all of whom she dearly loved. “And to the Dear People in Mount Ida that shed light on my trail of life, love them and good wishes Forever.”
