Drusilla Lucille Wheeler

Drusilla Lucille (Weston) Wheeler died February 17th at the age of 104.

Lucille was born to Ollie Lee Weston and Rebecca (Moore) Weston at Meyer Creek, Arkansas. She was the first of 17 children. She was baptized into Christ and became a life long member of the Mount Ida Church of Christ.

Lucille was proceeded in death by her parents Ollie Lee Weston & Rebecca Moore Weston, her husband of 47 years Dall J. Wheeler and 2 sons Wayne Roger Wheeler and Jerry Ray Wheeler and 14 brothers and sisters.

She is survived by her daughter Virginia Bailey of Portland, Oregon, sons J.L. (JoAnn) Wheeler and Don Wheeler both of Mount Ida, sisters Linda Angel of Hot Springs, Mary Lou Weston of Mount Ida, Shirley Horn of Royal, 13 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, 8 great great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and 100’s of cousins.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 20th at Thornton Funeral Home from 5-7:00pm. Services will be held on Friday, February 21st at the Mount Ida Church of Christ at 2:00pm with Brother John Hall officiating. Interment will be at the Owley Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jarrod Wheeler, Jason Wheeler, Justin Wheeler, Mitchel Wheeler, Corbin Wheeler and Jonathan Wheeler.
