Dorothy Ritter

Dorothy (Ashcraft) Ritter, 94, of Mount Ida, Arkansas, passed away Saturday, August 21, 2021, in Hot Springs, Arkansas. She was born March 14, 1927, in Pansy, Arkansas, to the late Robert Thomas and Cassie (Byrd) Ashcraft. She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband; William E. Ritter, brother; John Ashcraft, half brother; Spence Byrd, two stepsons; William Keith Ritter and Billy Ritter.

She is survived by her son; Gary (Janet) Fox, daughter; Cynthia (John) Amaro, grandchildren; Jason Robert Fox, Cassie Michele London, Stacy Kilcrease, Ernesto Amaro, great-grandchildren; Cody London, Jacob London, Antonio Amaro, Zachary London, Isabella Kilcrease, Mateo Amaro, and Cruz Amaro, great-great-grandchildren; Maverick London and Gavin London, and her brother; Buddy (Shirley) Ashcraft.

Service will be Saturday, August 28, 2021, 10:00 am, at Lake Ouachita Baptist Church with Bro. Ty Huitt officiating with burial at Joplin Cemetery. Pallbearers will be John Amaro, Tim Kilcrease, Johnny Amaro, Jason Fox, Cody London and Jacob London. Arrangements were made under the direction of Thornton Funeral Home of Mount Ida, AR.
