Dorothy Kimzey

Dorothy Ann Galloway Kimzey, 89, of Hot Springs, Arkansas, passed away Saturday, December 10, 2022. She was born January 6, 1933, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Byron and Addie Elaine (Dunaway) Galloway. She married her husband, Billy Don Kimzey on May 27, 1951, in Mount Ida, Arkansas. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband and her brother, Charles W. Galloway.

Dorothy is survived by her 3 daughters, Linda E. Kimzey McCaslin of Hot Springs, Donna C. Kimzey Lindsey of Texarkana, Texas and Karen D. Kimzey also of Hot Springs, her grandchildren, Michelle (Shane) Scarborough, Danielle (Tim) Kuykendall, Kendall (Jon) Ellison, M. Brandon McCaslin, William C. McCaslin and Kyle (Ashley) Counts, 9 great grandchildren, brother, Robert Galloway of Pencil Bluff and sister-in-law, Pat Galloway of Oklahoma City, also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

There will be a graveside service Friday, December 16, 2022, 2:00 pm, at Pencil Bluff Cemetery in Pencil Bluff, Arkansas. Arrangements are under the direction of Thornton Funeral Service in Mt. Ida. Guest register at www.thorntonfh.com
