Danny Eugene Ditgen Jr.

Danny “Poppy” Ditgen, 57, of Story, Arkansas, passed away Sunday, September 19th, 2021, as a result of an accidental drowning. Danny was born in Orange, California, November 15th, 1963, to Danny Ditgen Sr. and Diana (Manning) Ballew. Danny is preceded in death by both his parents, his “favorite” brother Johnny Ditgen.

Danny is survived by his better half, Cheryl, his children, Chris (Breanna) Reece-Ditgen, Cory (Chelsey) Ditgen, Cami (Logan) Ditgen, Cassi (Cade) Ditgen, his grandchildren, Isabella, Addilee, Baylor, Payton, JayCie, Karleigh, Nora and Rhett, brother Bobby Ditgen and Roman Ditgen, sisters Karley Ditgen and Jamie Bryant.

Danny enjoyed raising hell, loud Whiskey Meyers music, drinking beer and giving an occasional “sermon”. Danny was never afraid to speak his mind and give his opinion on anything political. He was very outdoorsy and enjoyed a bucking a few bulls in his younger years. He spent a lot of time on Lake Ouachita with kids and grandkids camping in different areas “Tiki Town” and “Beer Bottle Beach”. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
