Bertie Fern Irons

Bertie “Fern” (Turner) Irons, age 78, of Oden, Arkansas passed away August 6, 2022, in a Hot Springs hospital. Fern was born on August 2, 1944, in Alexandria, Indiana to J.E. and Denver Turner. She grew up and attended school in Farmersville, California.
Fern is preceded in death by her son, Roben Irons, brother, Roy Turner, and sister, Ruby Irons.

Fern is survived by her husband Leo Irons of Oden, AR, one son, Eugene (Lisa) Qualls of Holiday Island AR, one grandson, Cody (Markie) Qualls, two great granddaughters, Maryn and Harper Qualls all of Berryville, AR, daughter in law, Marilyn Irons of Mt. Ida, AR, brother, Amen (Sharon) Turner of Tulare, CA, and many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, August 10, 2022, at Lodi Cemetery in Glenwood, AR with Bro. Don Vaughn officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Thornton Funeral Service in Mt. Ida. Guest register at www.thorntonfh.com
