Barbara Ann Hughes

Barbara Ann (Cosper) Hughes, 81, of Oden, Arkansas, passed away, Tuesday, March 12, 2024, in Hot Springs. She was born June 10, 1942, in Alabama to Morris and Susie Mae (Marshall) Cosper. She is preceded in by both of her parents, sister-in-law Marsha Cosper, brother-in-law John Rushton and niece Tina Richardson.

Barbara is survived by her husband of 28 years, Darrel Hughes, sons Jeffery (Sundy) Thorn and Gregory (Carolyn) Thorn, daughter Jennifer Moore, 11 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, sisters Lee Rushton and Julia (Larry) Richardson brothers Ronnie Cosper and Kenneth (Pam) Cosper, nieces, nephews and a host of other family and friends.

Visitation will be Friday, March 15, 2024, 1:00-2:00 pm at Mount Olive Landmark Missionary Baptist Church in Oden with service at 2:00 pm, with Bro. Arlie Francis and Bro. Kyle Cowart officiating. Burial will be at Brushy Cemetery in Oden, AR. Pallbearers are Shawn Wheeler, Patrick Fair, Cole Thorn, Ryan Thorn, Zack Thorn and Stephan James.
